Shelter for Help in Emergency (SHE)
Provides support for survivors of sexual violence free of charge. Services include individual and group therapy, legal advocacy, emergency room accompaniment, and a 24/7 hotline.
Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA)
Offers a variety of services related to sexual and reproductive health, including birth control, emergency contraception, abortion, STI testing, and well-woman exams. Most services accept payment on a sliding scale.
Offers confidential individual, couple, and group counseling for UVA community members of all gender identities at no cost. Also holds a free, monthly legal clinic and periodic body positivity events.
The Women's Center
Serves as a support group for people who have or have had a drinking problem.
A comprehensive substance abuse and eating disorder treatment facility in Florida. In addition to medical detox and acute medical stabilization, offers nutrition monitoring, inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and sober housing accommodations.
