Joining HELP Line

 HELP Line Volunteers are anonymous and confidential UVA students who have passed an intensive 10-week training semester. Want to join us?

Training shifts take place from 7pm to 9pm on either Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday for ten weeks. Trainees are required to do substantive reading and practice calls in addition to the in-person training sessions.

Registration for training opens on the first day of class each semester at 9 am on the Madison House website.
